Forestburg has a Volunteer Fire Department led by Fire Chief Bernie Knievel. It was organized out of the Fire Brigade in 1947, with its structure remaining the same up to today The department is alerted to an emergency response by pagers.
Meetings are the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Fire Hall, consisting of a practice followed by a business meeting. After some of the meetings, we have a fellowship in the basement.
The Village of Forestburg provides training and pay for the members. At the moment we have 20 members. If you are interested in joining the Department, please contact one of the members below:
