Daysland Health Care Centre is located on the west side of Daysland, AB.
Killam Health Care Centre is located on the east side of Killam, AB.
Daysland and Killam are both approximately 30 minutes from Forestburg.
Residents of Forestburg are encouraged to donate towards the new Daysland Clinic Project. The Daysland doctors made a commitment years ago to fill a void when our town doctor had to retire. By having a new clinic in Daysland that will accommodate more physicians, they will be able to provide more days per week in Forestburg. Thanks to local businessmen Jerry Saik, the project is a go. He is financing the project so we can get started now when the dollar is high and contractors are available. It will be a commercial condominium project with a small front portion being an extension of his existing drugstore so he can expand his dispensary as required by his professional association. The Hospital Foundation will "lease to own" the majority of the bulding for a non-profit clinic. The Daysland Foundation's major fundraiser is now underway. A donor brick wall will be a feature in the new lobby. The following sizes are available as listed below.
The Foundation will be working with local businesses and municipalities towards accessing grants to pay the cost of the clinic portion which will be approximately $1.5 million
