Forestburg has two cemeteries; The Baptist Cemetery, just a short distance east of Village limits and Forestburg Public Cemetery, located 1 mile south of the Village.
The Forestburg Public Cemetery is maintained by many volunteers and the Public Works Division from the Village of Forestburg. In the spring, there is an annual Cemetery Clean Up Day. Volunteers are always welcome. Donations or memorial donations are welcome and if you would like to join the Cemetery Society, contact Donna Freadrich @ 780-582-3577.
The VILLAGE OF FORESTBURG and FORESTBURG PUBLIC CEMETERY SOCIETY is seeking contact with interested persons or family members regarding grave cover removals of their loved ones who are interred in the Forestburg Public Cemetery located 1 mile south of Forestburg. The following is the list of persons in question.
Herman Andre; Elisa Andre; Joyce Andre; Edgar Fink; William Fink; Mariea Steiger, Jeremiah Carr Forester; Kristi Osterloh; Lavina Hodam; Ruth Walker; John M. Wallsten; Thomas McPherson; William Starrs; Nina Starrs; Bailer Twins. All markers or monuments in Section "A" may be subject to small alignment adjustments.
