The Village of Forestburg Council consists of five members elected for three year terms. The postion of Mayor is selected by fellow Council members at a council organizational meeting every October.

Councillor Peter Miller
Councillor Dayna Oberg
Regular Council meetings are held the first and third Thursdays of the month at 6:30pm in the Municipal Office, 4902 -50 Street. These are public meetings and everyone is welcome to attend.
Council Meetings are scheduled for July 8, 2010 and August 12, 2010 @ 6:30 p.m.
2010 MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
Are you interested in serving your community as an elected official? Municipal Elections for council are fast approaching. An information package for potential candidates is available on the website or at the Village Office. Nominations Forms are available at the Village Office.
NOMINATION DAY is Monday September 20, 2010, 10 am - 12 noon at the Village Office.
ELECTION DAY will be held on Monday October 18, 2010, 10 am - 8 pm at the Forestburg Community Centre.
An ADVANCE VOTE will be conducted on October 6, 2010 from 6 pm - 8 pm at Big Knife Villa. An incapacitated Elector Vote at Home will be conducted on October 6, 2010, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
