Forestburg Historical Society Museum

The Forestburg Historical Society operates the Forestburg and District Museum, which is located on Main Street in the former Masonic Temple.  Built in 1927, it is a Registered Historical Resource.  Many displays were updated last summer in time for the Forestburg School Reunion.  At present the major project of the society is getting the exterior of the museum repaired and repainted due to some deterioration.  Creating new exhibit space for a major donation of  a doll collection will be the next project.  The museum is open to the public on a regular schedule during the summer months or by appointment.

SUMMER HOURS - Tues - Sat 9 am - noon, 1  pm - 5 pm.  If you have visitors and would like to view the museum outside of regular hours, please call the museum during open hours @ 780-582-2298 and make an appointment.  They will be happy to accommodate you.  This summer they are fortunate to have two summer workers.  Welcome to their new employee, David Smith and their returning employee Michelle Litt.
