Highway 53 Resurfacing Project

Highway 53, west of Forestburg, to Highway 36 is currently undergoing resurfacing as part of a larger highway rehabilitation project. The project includes pavement overlay, minor geometric improvements, and related work.

Included in this project was an upgrade and widening of the Highway 53/47 Street intersection in support of the Forestburg Industrial Subdivision Development Project.

Forestburg is very grateful to Alberta Transportation & Utilities on expediting this improvement to align with our related infrastructure activities and the Highway 53 resurfacing project.
